D&AD Shift with Google:
A showcase built to get them hired
D&AD Shift with Google is a free night school that turns self-taught creatives into industry-ready talent. After months of live briefs from global brands, mentoring and agency visits, the class needed a graduation showcase worthy of their work: a night to present their portfolios directly to the people who could hire them.

- Celebrate the live brief work, and the mentors and partners who shaped it
- Make D&AD and Google's commitment to new creative talent visible throughout the space
We turned a harbourside space into a gallery for the class. Giant light-up D&AD letters and a branded media wall marked the arrival and framed the graduation photos. Digital signage and screens carried the Shifters' work and portraits through the room, and lighting and AV carried the speeches and certificate presentations as the afternoon turned into evening.

- Digital signage: screens and digital totems showing the Shifters' work, branding and wayfinding

- Audio visual: sound and microphones for the speeches and certificate presentations, and screens for the showcase content
- Lighting: lighting to carry the space from afternoon into evening
Every Shifter graduated in front of industry guests, mentors and partners, with their work seen by the people best placed to hire them. The night capped a programme whose graduates have gone on to agencies including The Monkeys, Heckler, Abel and BMF.
